Dark Tor

Greetings brave Knight,

Dark Tor is a special event that was introduced on March 13th, 2020. By entering the Sacred Portal, you will face and battle Cult enemies from The Inquisition to earn Event Points, which will grant rewards.

Enemies

The Inquisition are the descendants of a unit of The Pure that were sent beyond the Portal. They went looking to cleanse new lands of cultish horrors and instead found Glashtyn... and lost their sanity.

Inquisition Enforcers make up the bulk of the Inquisition's forces. Heavily armored and wielding longswords, the Enforcers hit hard - their Retribution power can inflict the Doom status effect, which takes off a hefty chunk of a Knight's health and armor... and it can't be dispelled!

Inquisition Archers shoot with deadly skill. Hiding behind their heavily armored comrades, their power can weaken even the strongest Knights.

Inquisitor Vitiosus leads the Inquisition forces gathering at Dark Tor. Legendary for his magical prowess, this cleric can also inflict Doom from the back row.

Inquisitor Caligo leads the Inquisition's scouting expeditions through the portal. Accompanied by his fellow Enforcers and Archers - and anyone else he can convert - he's leading the charge from the front, roaming our lands.

And then there is Glashtyn, the creature that turned a group of fanatically anti-cult knights into... a cult. Demanding worship, this strange drains the life force of all who approach it. Will your guild be brave enough to challenge this horror from the deep?

Heroes

Garron is a fan favourite, and the OG Dark Tor Hero! Tied in closely with the lore of Dark Tor, he became the leader of The Pure, and sealed away the threat of Glashtyn after his predecessor suffered an unfortunate bout of giant seahorse induced insanity. This Legendary Warrior hits like a truck, and shreds Cultists with his Acid based Rage attack. His Base Power is also handy for delaying an enemy's attack.

Samael is a being of pure chaos, hailing from an unknown dimension. Unable to take corporeal form itself, Samael possesses a suit of enchanted armor to make its presence known. Its Base Power, Miasma, targets the front row and delays enemy powers. Its Rage Power, Soul Vortex, hits all enemies with distributed damage and is strong versus acid.

Caliban has few memories of his life. He can only remember his pain, darkness, and voices muttering in an unknown language. His Base Power, Scythe Sweep, damages enemies on the back row with a chance to Weaken. His Rage Power, Danse Macabre, hits all enemies with a life drain that restores armor and health to the Knight. Handy in a range of battles, particularly PvE ones, this Hunter is strong vs Militia, and great for providing both healing, and weakening of your enemies.

Did you know...?

...Dark Tor was the first in-game event after global launch release! Also, the word "Tor" is Scottish-Gaelic in origin and means "Tall hill" or "Rocky peak".
